This project is a design proposal for staff housing at Uganda Martyrs University. The client is a nurse and has a family of seven. The client need is to have no just a house but a home for her family, a place full of emotions and feelings of love, compassion, togetherness; a place full of happiness.
Analogy is drawn from clothing where the building envelope is considered as a clothing of happiness to the client. Mark Wigley’s theories on dresses in Architecture are therefore integrated in the project.
